GAINESVILLE - An early morning fire damaged a double wide mobile home Wednesday in the East Hall area, according to Hall County Fire Services officials.

Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said firefighters responded to 3505 Holly Springs Road to the 1,200 square foot home.  The location is off of Gillsville Highway.

"Crews initially were operating in a defensive mode but switched to an aggressive interior attack after establishing a water shuttle operation and extinguished the fire," Brackett stated in a release to AccessWDUN.

He said four people were home at the time of the fire and escaped injury.  They were staying with family members, according to Brackett.

Earlier in the overnight hours, Brackett said a breaker box fire sent firefighters to 22 Stallworth Street off of West Ridge Road.

"The power was secured and the fire was extinguished," Brackett stated.

No one in the 3000 square foot duplex was hurt.

Brackett said the department is investigating for the cause and origin of each fire.
