BUFORD - A unusually wet fall in north Georgia has had a impact on a lot of things, such as road work, fall festivals and even plans for this year's holiday attractions at Lanier Islands.
Officials with the South Hall resort say both the Magical Nights of Lights and Winter Adventure will open Friday and will continue through Jan. 3. They had planned to open both on Nov. 20.
