DEMOREST — The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team knocked off East Hall 87-69 on Tuesday to claim the Piedmont College Hardwood Classic title in Demorest.
Tre Gober scored 24 points to pace the Lions (2-1), while Carter Reeves scored 23 and pulled down 10 points en route to being named tournament MVP.
Evan Pitts also scored 11, and Drew Cottrell added nine and was named to the all-tournament team. Daniel Fadool also scored eight.
Lakeview led 40-33 at the half.
The Lions will play again on Dec. 5 against North Oconee in Gainesville.
