UNG women's soccer coach Chris Adams

The University of North Georgia women's soccer team was selected to the field of 48 teams for the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship as announced by the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee Nov. 9. The national tournament appearance is the fourth in the past five years for UNG.

North Georgia (15-3-1) - the No. 3 seed in the Southeast Region - will face off with sixth-seeded Limestone (16-3-0) in the first round of the tournament on Friday at 5 p.m., at the Walden Soccer Complex in Columbus, Georgia. If the Nighthawks advance past Limestone they would meet second-seeded Columbus State (18-2-1) in the second round on Sunday at 1 p.m., for a chance to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
