No serious injuries in Cleveland car/motorcycle collision

CLEVELAND - A motorcycle operator escaped serious injury when he was stuck from behind by a car on Helen Highway north of Cleveland Friday morning. 

The collision at the intersection of Helen Highway and Hulsey Road was reported around 11 a.m.

White County Sheriff's Office investigated the crash.

It is believed that the male driver of the motorcycle, who was traveling north on Highway 75 (Helen Highway), had stopped at the traffic light at the intersection when the female driver of the car ran into the rear of the motorcycle.

The impact pushed the motorcycle through the intersection.

The motorcyclist was checked out by medical personnel on scene. He was walking around prior to emergency personnel arriving on scene.

A motorcycle was struck from behind on Helen Highway at Hulsey Road north of Cleveland Friday morning.
