CUMMING - Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputies are seeking the public's help in identifying a masked man who reportedly robbed a Walmart earlier this week.

According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, a black male wearing a blue surgical mask entered the Walmart on Peachtree Parkway.

Armed with a semi-automatic handgun, the suspect robbed store employees that were collecting money from the registers. The suspect discharged the gun into the floor before he left with an undisclosed amount of money, but no one was injured.

Witnesses said the masked man got in to a black sedan, possibly a Toyota, that was driven by another suspect, a black female. Another black female was possibly acting as a look-out, and authorities said she left the store immediately after the robbery, also getting in to a black car.

Authorities said the suspect descriptions match the descriptions of suspects in similar incidents in other parts of the state.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sexton with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office at 770-781-2200.
