DEMOREST - The Demorest City Council has changed the location of Tuesday night's city council meeting.
"Due to the recent storms that occurred over the weekend, part of our municipal building flooded," City Clerk Marlena Sosebee announced Monday. "We will be moving the council meeting to the Demorest Woman’s Club."
That meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The Demorest Woman's Club is located on Central Avenue directly across from Piedmont College.
