Early morning fire damages Suwanee business

SUWANEE- Gwinnett County Fire Department officials said responded to an early morning business fire at 190 Buford Highway in Suwanee.<br /> <br /> Crews found heavy smoke coming from the building housing Interstate Battery when they arrived at 1:05 a.m. Department officials said the flames were contained to an interior corner of the warehouse and caused heavy damage to a rack of automotive batteries and charging units. <br /> <br /> The fire department's hazardous materials team responded to the scene because batteries were involved in the fire. <br /> <br /> The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.<br /> <br /> The business was closed at the time, so no one was in the building. No injuries were reported.
