Softball: Chestatee splits contests on Saturday

The Chestatee softball team defeated Baconton Charter 3-1 and fell to Lanier 16-0 on Saturday.<br /> <br /> The Lady War Eagles (5-9) got a complete game winning performance from Becca Eddins in the pitching circle vs. Baconton, as she struck out nine batters.<br /> <br /> Kayla Watson helped lead Chestatee at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a run scored, while Sierra Brock was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Alexis Holcomb also finished 2 for 3.<br /> <br /> Watson had a double against Lanier, while Bailey Mason had a hit in the loss.
