Savannah police investigate 2 separate shootings

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) Savannah police are investigating overnight shootings that left two men dead. <br /> <br /> Savannah-Chatham County police said Saturday the shootings occurred four hours apart and the crime scenes were more than 5 miles from each other. <br /> <br /> A police news release says 21-year-old Devonte Mumford was found suffering from a gunshot just before 8:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of a sports bar near Savannah State University. The second victim, 37-year-old Antonio Duncan, was shot while driving on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at the edge of the city's downtown historic district at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. <br /> <br /> Police say both men died after being taken to a local hospital. No suspects or arrests were announced Saturday afternoon.
