GAINESVILLE - The company planning to develop a 36-lot subdivision on Hog Mountain Road near Flowery Branch is scheduled to be back before the Hall County Planning Commission Tuesday with its request. This will be the third time in recent months that the application has been on the planning board's agenda.

Ridgeline Land Planning, Inc., requested at the group's July meeting that the application to rezone the property be tabled until August. But, shortly before the August planning commission meeting, Ridgeline asked that it be tabled again, this time until the commission's Sept. 2 meeting - and that request was also granted.

At the July meeting, the president of Ridgeline, who was not at the meeting, had asked the board via letter to table the plan until August, so he could speak with neighbors about the 22-are development near Jones Creek Subdivision. About two dozen people were at the meeting to oppose the plans. (See earlier story. Link below.)

The planning board will meet at 5:15 Tuesday at the Hall County Government Center.
