Peach State Bank & Trust promotes Pettit

GAINESVILLE - Ron Quinn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Peach State Bank & Trust, announced Monday that Steven Pettit has been promoted to Banking Officer.<br /> <br /> Pettit began his career at Peach State in 2006, immediately after graduating from from Liberty University with a degree in Religion and Business. He started in the customer service department as a teller and has been working in the bank's accounting area since 2011. Pettit completed his ACH certification in the fall of 2013, has earned a Banking and Finance Diploma from the American Institute of Banking and will be a 2016 graduate of the Georgia Banking School.<br /> <br /> He and wife, Fancy reside in Gainesville with their two children, Asher, age 3 and Teegan, age 1. They are members of Lakewood Baptist Church, where Steven serves as a deacon minister and youth minister leader.<br /> <br /> "I am pleased to announce Steven's promotion," Quinn said.
