Man charged for leaving explosive device in Buford driveway

BUFORD - A Gwinnett County man faces several charges for allegedly leaving a makeshift bomb in a Buford Driveway.<br /> <br /> According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, 28-year-old Ryan Michael Derose had been arguing with his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend the night before the device was discovered on Pine Log Way.<br /> <br /> The current couple shared a home on that street.<br /> <br /> Investigators described it as a can filled with shotgun shells and lighter fluid, wrapped in electrical tape. Authorities began the investigation two weeks ago.<br /> <br /> The AJC quoted a police report where the responding officer indicated the device was a crude but potentially destructive bomb.<br /> <br /> Derose remained in the Gwinnett County jail on Friday.
