Hutson Mason finally the BMOC for Georgia Bulldogs

ATHENS -- Hutson Mason is finally a big man on the Georgia campus. It's all very flattering - especially after waiting four years to become the Bulldogs' starting quarterback.<br /> <br /> But Mason isn't ready to call it the best part of his new role.<br /> <br /> He hopes that will come at the end, after he leads Georgia to a championship.<br /> <br /> All eyes will be on the fifth-year senior when No. 12 Georgia opens the season next week with a crucial game against No. 16 Clemson.<br /> <br /> One of Mason's biggest fans is D.J. Shockley, who went through essentially the same thing during his time with the Bulldogs. Both spent four years behind record-breaking quarterbacks before finally getting a chance to start in their final seasons.<br /> <br /> Shockley led Georgia to the Southeastern Conference title in 2005.
