ATHENS -- The Georgia Bulldogs logged their second scrimmage of preseason camp Friday night at Sanford Stadium.

The scrimmage capped off a week that included five practices in four days. The team enjoyed a surprise trip to the Ramsey Student Center pool on Tuesday afternoon instead of the originally scheduled practice.

"Tonight started out a lot like the last scrimmage," Richt said. "The offense came out and moved the ball down the field on an 11 or 12 play drive and scored a touchdown. There weren't any big plays they just moved the ball. Hutson [Mason] hit [Chris] Conley for a touchdown. From there the execution deteriorated as the day went on."

Mason led the passing attack as he went 22-for-31 for 204 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Redshirt freshman Brice Ramsey was 13-for-17 for 187 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Freshman Jacob Park was 11-for-16 with 166 yards and a touchdown. Redshirt sophomore Faton Bauta was 10-for-17 with 152 yards.

Freshman Sony Michel was the leading rusher as he tallied 29 yards on four carries and also caught three passes for 20 yards. Freshman Nick Chubb gained 30 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Brendan Douglas rushed for 19 yards on nine carries. Juniors Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall each rushed four times for 11 yards.

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Kenneth Towns led all receivers with 10 catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Freshman tight end Jeb Blazevich caught five balls for 112 yards. Sophomore wide receiver Brendan Langley had four catches for 71 yards and a touchdown and freshman wide receiver Shakenneth Williams had two catches for 71 yards.

"Defensively, we saw a couple of really nice picks," Richt added. "[Freshman] Dominick Sanders had a pick-six. [Freshman] Rico [Johnson] had a beautiful interception on a ball that Brice [Ramsey] was trying to throw away and just didn't throw it away enough. Rico leaped up and made a great catch to keep his feet in bounds. The offense won most of the third and shorts and the defense won most of the third and longs."

Junior linebacker Jordan Jenkins led all tacklers with nine tackles, adding four tackles for loss and two sacks. Senior linebacker Amarlo Herrera had seven tackles. Freshman defensive back Shattle Fenteng and senior linebacker Kosta Vavlas each had fumble recoveries. Sophomore linebacker Reggie Carter, redshirt freshman linebacker Davin Bellamy, senior nose guard Mike Thornton, and junior linebacker James DeLoach each recorded a sack.

The annual Fans' Picture Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Reed Plaza area of Sanford Stadium and will feature Richt, football players, cheerleaders, other UGA athletic teams along with mascot, Uga IX. Special ticket coupons are required for access to the location for Uga IX and Richt. Those tickets will be distributed to the first 150 fans at 10:00 a.m. from the East End ticket windows on East Campus Road.

No outside items may be brought to Picture Day. The Georgia Athletic Association will provide each fan with two free schedule posters to be signed by the players and Coach Richt. Fans are limited to two items per person and fans will only be allowed to have the 2014 Football Schedule poster signed.
