Hall area road planning group reverses earlier vote

GAINESVILLE - The Policy Committee of the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) voted Friday to reverse a decision earlier this week excluding funding for a South Hall road project.<br /> <br /> The committee met in an emergency session and, in rescinding its earlier vote, decided to restore funding for the SR 347/Lanier Islands Parkway project, according to Sam Baker, Senior Transportation Planner for the GHMPO.<br /> <br /> Baker said the vote restores funding for other projects, as well.
