Two of three missing teens from lake party found safe

CUMMING - Just after lunch Tuesday, Forsyth County authorities said two of the three missing party-goers they had been searching for in Lake Lanier turned up safe.<br /> <br /> The three - two females and one male - had disappeared from a party at Two Mile Creek Park on the shores of Lake Lanier in north Forsyth County. Authorities feared they had jumped into Lake Lanier when a sheriff's deputy spotted the illegal party occurring after closing hours at the park.<br /> <br /> The two females were located safe Tuesday afternoon, according to Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers. He did not say where the two were found.<br /> <br /> Shivers said 20 or more people were in attendance at the party, and when a deputy arrived at the scene around midnight, they all scattered, some of them going into the lake.<br /> <br /> He said fire department and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department continue to use sonar to determine if the missing male might be in the water. Shivers said the missing person's family has been in contact with law enforcement.<br /> <br /> <i>This story will be updated.</i>
