Nicholson races to Ellis Palasini prelim win at Greenville

GREENVILLE, MS - Anthony Nicholson held off Tim Crawley on a green-white-checkered finish Friday night to score his second United Sprint Car Series victory of the year in Friday's Ellis Palsani Black Widow Classic preliminary A-Main at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS.<br /> <br /> The trip to USCS Victory Lane was Nicholson's sixth in his career for the Georgia based series, moving him into a tie for 13th on the all-time series win list. It also makes the Bartlett, TN native the first driver to beat Crawley in competition since June 28 at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Missouri.
