WOODSTOCK, GA - It was slightly over three years to the day since Wayne Echols of Cumming, GA visited Victory Lane at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA, but Saturday night he made a return trip, as he took the lead at the drop of the green flag and went wire to wire for the win.

Echols led by the length of a straightaway at times over second place Michael Page, who was able to close to within a couple of car lengths of the leader in lapped traffic. Preston Graves and Johnny Chastain, both of Murphy, NC, battled each other for third for half the race before Chastain grabbed the spot. Graves held fourth for several laps before being over taken on lap 25 by Jason Croft. Graves would hold on to finish in fifth.

The Steelhead Late Models would see Don Jenkins make a daring move on lap three to go from third to first on the outside groove, and he would go on to take the win. Chris Fennell held on to second as Randy Dllard ran third. Rob Johnson and Austin Horton finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Justin Shipley took the in the Crate feature as he bested the large field of competitors. T.J. Reaid finished in second followed by Shane Smith, Zach Pilcher, and Cody Richards.

Terry Vollrath took the win in the Super Bomber feature holding off both Justin Begley and Andy Morris for the win. Morris was able to finish second followed by Josh Pilcher with fourth going to Justin Begley followed by Roy Patterson.

It was the Wheelspin Championship tonight where a wheel with the names of four Divisions were written was spun to see who would run for a $1000 to win feature. The wheel stopped on the Economy Bomber class. Landon Bagby grabbed the win and the extra cash after the apparent winner refused to teardown in a post race protest. Dan Meadows, Doug Ellis, Bryne Duren and David Burtz rounded out the top five.

J.J. Garrett and Jake Jones staged an spirited battle for the win in the Pony Stock feature with Garrett taking the top spot on the final lap. He would go on to take the win with Jones settling for second. C.J. Dettmar made his way from the rear of the field to grab third on the final lap. Ronnie Faucett finished fourth with Mitchell Pope in fifth.

In the Cruiser feature, Todd Lankster grabbed another win. John Sexton held the lead for most of the race with heavy pressure from Lankster, who was also receiving pressure from behind by Wes Chavez. Lankster was able to get around Sexton in turn four.
