Baldwin man killed in motorcycle collision

DAWSONVILLE - The Georgia State Patrol said a 21-year-old Baldwin man died in a Wednesday evening collision between his motorcycle and a pick-up truck in Dawson County.<br /> <br /> Troopers said the crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on Georgia Highway 9 near Jewel Slaton Road. Elijah Cain Simmons lost control of his motorcycle as he tried to negotiate a curve; he crossed the center line and hit the pick-up truck.<br /> <br /> Simmons died at the scene, according to investigators. <br /> <br /> Troopers said no one else was injured.<br />
