GHMPO sets date for next community meeting on transportation issues

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) has set the date for a second community meeting on transportation issues in the area.<br />
<br />
The agency has been in the process of updating the region's long-range transportation plan, which identifies transportation priorities. <br />
<br />
The meeting will be held Thursday, August 7, 5:30-7:00 at the Hall County Government Center, with a formal presentation planned at 6:00.<br />
<br />
The GHMPO is looking for input on such topics as:<br />
<br />
· New roadways<br />
· Road widenings<br />
· Bicycle and pedestrian facilities<br />
· Transit improvements<br />
· Safety projects<br />
