Horse show to benefit domestic violence shelters in the area

GAINESVILLE - The 13th Annual "Ticket to Ride Benefit Horse Show" will be held July 18-20 at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta and will benefit regional domestic violence shelters - including Gainesville's Gateway Domestic Violence Center. <br /> <br /> Each year the show brings together several exhibitors, sponsors and equestrians from across the Southeast. <br /> <br /> Harry Norman, REALTORS Forsyth/Lake Lanier Office is sponsoring the event. Last year, with over 170 horses competing, the show brought in more than $12,000 that was donated to regional domestic abuse shelters, including Gateway. <br /> <br /> This goal for this year's event is $25,000. The funds raised will benefit Gateway as well as Forsyth County's Family Haven, Douglas County's Share House, and Dawson and Lumpkin County's No One Alone Shelter.<br /> <br /> Five hours are set aside for the event on Friday and 12 hours each Saturday and Sunday:<br /> <br /> Friday, July 18: 3
