BRASELTON - A new hospital in the works in Braselton expects to hire between 500 and 600 employees by the time it opens next spring.

Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton Human Resources Director Robin Daniel said that number could go up as projections change.

She said the positions run the gamut.

"(The positions) primarily will cover the clinical areas, we'll also have all the support areas as well, so we'll have environmental services, nutritional services. There will be admin. and clerical positions," Daniel said.

The new hospital is hiring in phases.

"We've identified the length of training time that would be needed to have someone fully oriented and ready to go when the hospital opens in Braselton, and then we've worked backwards from that, adding in the length of recruitment time," Daniel said.

Current hospital employees get the first opportunity to apply, with positions being posted internally for the first ten days.

You can search job openings at the link listed below. Daniel said applicants without Internet access can visit the hospital's workforce planning and employment office at the Lanier Park campus on White Sulphur Road. (770) 219-0401.
