Two charged in Rabun County burglaries

CLAYTON - Two people have been charged in connection with burglaries off Lake Rabun Road in Rabun County.<br /> <br /> Rabun County Sheriff Frank Andrews reports that on July 1, Rabun County Sheriff's Office along with Mountain Patrol Security started investigating two burglaries that had occurred off Georgia Lane and Wexford Way. <br /> <br /> Gregory Dale Gipson, 35, of Wiley was charged with two counts of burglary, as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. <br /> <br /> Lakeisha Deanne Gil, 37, of Wiley was charged with two counts of burglary, and an unrelated count of theft by taking.<br /> <br /> Multiple household items and tools taken from both residences were recovered, Andrews said. <br /> <br /> Sheriff's investigators and Mountain Patrol are continuing to check residences for other possible break-ins. <br />
