ATLANTA - A clemency hearing was scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday for a Georgia death row inmate convicted of murder in the slaying of a store clerk who was scheduled to testify against his son.

Tommy Lee Waldrip, who's 68, is set to die Thursday evening at the state prison in Jackson.
