Motorcycle wreck claims life of Commerce man

LULA - A Commerce man died as a result of injuries from a motorcycle wreck in Banks County Tuesday night.<br /> <br /> Sgt. 1st Class Chad Johnson of Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville said 18-year-old Jacob Lamar Bullock succumbed to injuries after being airlifted to Gwinnett Medical Center.<br /> <br /> The wreck involving Bullock's black 2002 Suzuki GSX 750 occurred at 8:38 p.m. on Antioch Road, 0.4 mile south of Georgia Highway 51 near Lula.<br /> <br /> "Bullock lost control while attempting to negotiate a slight curve," Johnson said. <br /> <br /> Bullock's motorcycle traveled off into a yard at 441 Antioch Road.<br /> <br /> The motorcycle slid onto its left side then overturned numerous times, Johnson said.<br /> <br /> "Speed was a factor," Johnson said.
