Athens Street to be closed July 7-Aug. 1

GAINESVILLE - The City of Gainesville has issued notice that Athens Street will be closed at the railroad crossing beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 7, and will remain closed through Aug. 1.<br />
<br />
Norfolk Southern Railroad plans to replace the existing rails and upgrade the crossing on Gainesville's east side.<br />
