GAINESVILLE - Two well established primary care physicians - W. Rhett Weaver, M.D., FACP, of Mountain Internal Medicine and Michael Mulberry, M.D., of Valley View Medical Center - have joined The Lonegstreet Clinic effective today.

Weaver's practice, Mountain Internal Medicine, is located on Austin Drive in Demorest.

"I have come to this decision after much consideration and prayer," Weaver said. "With so much changing so rapidly in our health care system, my primary goal has been to find a way to continue to provide the individualized personal care that our patients deserve and expect right here in Habersham County."

Mulberry's practice, Valley View Medical Center, is located on Alicia Lane in Dahlonega. In addition to his family medicine and aesthetics practice, Mulberry has worked as a physician in the Chestatee Regional Hospital Emergency Department.

"I chose to join The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., after evaluating several options for my practice. My comfort level with the decision was due in part to my positive experience with the Longstreet Inpatient Medicine physicians who have cared for my patients admitted at Chestatee Regional Hospital," Mulberry said. "It is my belief that the physicians of TLC and I share a similar philosophy regarding the practice of medicine and commitment to patients in Lumpkin County."
