Stifel Financial opens 9th Ga. office; already has one in Gainesville

ST. LOUIS - Stifel Financial Corp. announces that three former Raymond <br /> James financial advisors have joined its broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Incorporated, and established a new Private Client Group office in Atlanta. <br /> <br /> It is Stifel's ninth office in Georgia. One of the existing offices is on Green Street in Gainesville <br /> <br /> Joining Stifel are Richard "Dick" McGalliard, Senior Vice President/Investments and Branch Manager; John McHale, Senior Vice President/Investments; and Ryan Stewart, Senior Vice President/Investments. Also, Senior Vice President/Investments Robert Chanin, a 34-year investment industry veteran currently based in Stifel's office in Macon, will split his time between Atlanta and Macon. Combined, the four advisors are responsible <br /> for more than $490 million in client assets. <br /> <br /> In addition to housing Stifel's Atlanta Private Client Group, the new office will consolidate the firm's existing Atlanta-based Equity Research, Institutional Equity Sales, and Public Finance associates, as well as professionals from Stifel's Keefe, Bruyette & Woods subsidiary.
