Mom arrested after baby found crawling on Ga. road

CARLTON, Ga. (AP) Authorities in Madison County say the mother of a 1-year-old girl found crawling along a highway now has been charged with child cruelty and reckless conduct. <br /> <br /> The girl's father previously was charged after a man driving along Highway 72 in Carlton saw the child and stopped to pick her up then called police. <br /> <br /> The Athens Banner-Herald reports that 31-year-old Molly Pickens was arrested on Wednesday. The father, 37-year-old Timothy Pickens, was arrested June 13, the day the child was found. <br /> <br /> Police say the girl and three other children, ages 13, 9 and 5, were left alone at home. The 1-year-old got out of the house and had been crawling for about an hour when she was found. <br />
