Trial for 2013 Gainesville murder to start next week

GAINESVILLE - Jury selection is underway in the upcoming trial of Joseph Scott Williams, accused in the June, 2013, <a href=http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=262165>shooting death of Adrian Thompson</a> outside of Pepper's Grocery store on E.E. Butler Parkway in Gainesville.<br /> <br /> In addition to the murder charge, the 32-year-old Williams faces charges of possession of a gun during the commission of a crime and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. <br /> <br /> According to Hall County Court Administrator Reggie Forrester, jury selection should be completed by tomorrow with a trial start date of Monday, June 23rd.<br /> <br /> Judge Jason Deal will preside in the case.<br /> <br />
