Habersham Co. Canning Plant open house set for June 23

CLARKESVILLE - The Habersham County Canning Plant will be hosting an open house Monday, June 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.<br /> <br /> It will give the public the chance to see some new features at the plant, pick up a schedule of operation, meet the agriculture teachers and students who will be assisting in the canning plant this summer, and share canning ideas with other community members. <br /> <br /> The plant will also be offering a Salsa Canning Class on Tuesday June 24 at 1:00. Pre-registration is required.
