Air ambulance called to golf cart wreck in Hall County

FLOWERY BRANCH - First responders called an air ambulance to transport a girl to the hospital following a golf cart accident in south Hall County late Friday morning.<br /> <br /> The Georgia State Patrol reports at 11:57 a.m. the cart was traveling north on Shoreland Drive, when the cart traveled off the roadway, down an embankment and overturned. <br /> <br /> The passenger, an 8 year-old female, was unrestrained and thrown from the vehicle. <br /> <br /> She was flown to Scottish-Rite with non-life threatening injuries. <br /> <br /> The golf cart was being driven by a 12-year-old female. The report has not been completed and charges are pending.
