Gainesville woman charged in Habersham wreck

DEMOREST - A Gainesville woman was charged after a wreck that injured her and a passenger in the Fairview community Tuesday night.<br /> <br /> Trooper 1st Class Casey Coffee of Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa said the wreck happened at 8:45 p.m. on Georgia Highway 115 near Fairview School Road and involved a 1991 Ford Ranger pickup.<br /> <br /> Rebecca Inez Smith, 27, of Gainesville was charged with failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence, Coffee said. She suffered a neck injury and was taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center.<br /> <br /> Smith's passenger, 25-year-old Blaine Lloyd Weaver of Eastanollee, also complained of neck pain and was taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center.<br /> <br /> Coffee said the report contains no details of the single-vehicle wreck yet.
