Helicopter called to fly child hurt in White County wreck

CLEVELAND - A child was airlifted and three other people were hurt in a single-car wreck east of Cleveland just before 10 a.m. <br /> <br /> Sgt. 1st Class Chad Johnson of Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville said the wreck involved a green 2000 Honda Civic that went out of control and overturned. <br /> <br /> As the car overturned, a 9-year-old boy was ejected from the vehicle. That child, who Johnson said was conscious and talking, was airlifted from the scene to Children 'a Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. <br /> <br /> The mother, who suffered a head injury, was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. <br /> <br /> A young girl and an infant also were taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. <br /> <br /> The wreck remains under investigation by GSP Post 6. <br />
