South Forsyth students suspended for displaying offensive banner

CUMMING - Forsyth County schools officials confirmed Friday punishments have been handed down to three high school seniors involved in a prank that administrators said was inappropriate. <br /> <br /> Earlier this month, students at South Forsyth High School unveiled a large banner near the school's roof featuring a line from a rap song that contained a racial slur. <br /> <br /> District spokeswoman Jennifer Caracciolo said Friday morning the three boys involved in the prank were suspended for five days but have been allowed to graduate. <br /> <br />
