Two hurt in head-on wreck north of Helen

HELEN - Two people suffered non-serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Poplar Stump Road north of Helen. <br /> <br /> White County Sheriff's Office Capt. Tim Chapman said the two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of Martin Branch Road. <br /> <br /> Chapman said that the two injured were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment of injuries. <br /> <br /> According to Chapman, one of the drivers - who was not identified - was taken to jail for driving with suspended registration and having no insurance.
