Woman airlifted after Memorial Day accident at Innsbruck

HELEN - The female passenger of a golf cart was injured Memorial Day when the cart turned over onto her. <br /> <br /> The Helen police report states that the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Monday at Innsbruck golf course. <br /> <br /> According to the investigating officer's report, it had just rained and two women were in a golf cart going down a steep decline on the wet pavement. <br /> <br /> The driver, identified as Chong Park, told the officer that as she applied the brakes the cart swung around, flipped over and pinned female passenger Tae Hee Kim. <br /> <br /> Park's husband and Kim's husband were following behind. They told the officer that they immediately exited their golf cart and were able to upright the overturned cart that was on top of victim. <br /> <br /> White County Emergency Medical Service personnel arrived on scene and requested a helicopter to transport the patient to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. <br /> <br /> No further details are available.
