Cobb County prosecutors announced in a statement Friday that a jury convicted Charles Bernard Anderson for his role in an armed robbery of the Mableton restaurant location on Oct. 28, 2012. Cobb County Assistant District Attorney Courtney Mays says in a statement that the conviction is 39-year-old Anderson's fourth felony.
Judge Henry Thompson sentenced Anderson to life without parole.
Mays says Anderson pointed a gun at the cashier while another person watched the door and a third waited in a vehicle.
A message for Anderson's attorney was not immediately returned.
One codefendant, Kenneth Andre Eason, was previously convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to life in prison. Shantel Monique Washington is awaiting trial.
