Lowanda "Peanut" Kilby was found guilty this afternoon on all 60 counts of theft and racketeering, according to Fox 5.
Kilby stole $10,000 worth of donor money and euthanized dogs and cats in the "Lucky Dog, Lucky Kitty" program, which was supposed to use donations to support pets in the shelter for adoption. Fox 5 uncovered the scheme in 2012.
"There was a very intricate trail of documented evidence, emails, bank records," Rabun County District Attorney Brian Rickman told Fox 5. "At every turn where we went, the evidence just led to one place."
The television station reports that Kilby showed no emotion when her verdict was read.
Her sentencing will take place at a later date.
