ATLANTA - Police say the CEO of a faith-based nonprofit in Georgia's Gwinnett County solicited sex from a female probationer.

Authorities arrested Darrell Ellison on Thursday and charged him with two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony crime and two counts of making false statements. He was released on bond and did not return a message Friday seeking comment.

Ellison is the president and CEO of Jails to Nails, which provides jobs, housing and other resources to non-violent ex-offenders.

The Gwinnett sheriff's office said it was alerted that a woman had complained Ellison offered to falsify her community service records in return for sex. Police said they set up an undercover operation in which they heard Ellison again solicit the woman.
