HOSCHTON - A Hoschton teenager was killed over the weekend in a one vehicle accident on Old Collins Road and another teen has been charged in the fatal crash, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Authorities released information Thursday in the crash that killed 19-year-old Nicholas Eli Ryscamp. He was a passenger in a pick-up truck being driven by 18-year-old Joshua Alexander Conway of Athens. Conway was driving the truck in a field off the roadway when it overturned.

Jackson County emergency personnel reported they responded to the scene just before 8 p.m. Saturday, May 10, to find the victim pinned underneath the overturned truck.

Another passenger, Keely Shaye Copley, age 17, from Talmo was not seriously injured, according to the State Patrol.

GSP investigators said Conway has been charged with reckless driving and vehicular homicide in the first degree.
