STATESBORO - Viracon, one of North America's largest architectural glass fabricators, will expand its existing operations in Statesboro, creating 125 jobs and investing $2 million in its Statesboro facility.

The existing 330,000-square-foot facility in Statesboro produces and fabricates architectural glass for major construction projects across the United States.

This newest expansion is designed to help the company meet the expected growth in product demand, particularly growth in commercial construction activity along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.

Viracon is based in Owatonna, Minn., and has facilities in Statesboro, St. George, Utah, and Nazaré Paulista, Brazil. Viracon produces glass products, including tempered, laminated, insulating, silk-screened and high-performance coatings, for North American and international markets.
