ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) Authorities say a body has been found along the Chattahoochee River after two others were discovered earlier this month.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the latest body was reported Sunday afternoon on the river banks in Roswell. Officer Lisa Holland, a Roswell police spokeswoman, says the FBI was called to investigate because the body was found on property owned by the federal government. The dead person's identity was not immediately known.

It was the third body found along the Chattahoochee River in just over a week. Authorities say 56-year-old Gee Hang of Johns Creek was pulled from the river May 3 after she drowned. Two days later, 34-year-old Perfecto Ochoa Alvarado was found dead in the river near Austell. His death was ruled a homicide and remains under investigation.
