HOMER - A Homer man is charged with manufacturing marijuana after local authorities and drug agents said they found marijuana plants during the execution of a search warrant.

Authorities said they found about 75 pot plants growing in plastic planters in and around a workshop area at 156 Wooded Lake Drive, according to Commander Mitchell Posey with the Appalachian Drug Task Force.

The task force and Banks County Sheriff's deputies arrested 45-year-old Barry Milton Galloway in connection with the plants.

The bust happened a week ago Thursday, according to Posey.
