NGTC's Sullens headed to PBL National Convention

CLARKESVILLE - The Georgia Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) state competition was held in Atlanta April 12-13. <br /> <br /> Seven North Georgia Technical College PBL members competed there, and Emily Sullens of Alto will now be heading to the National Competition that will be held in Nashville, Tennessee in June. In addition, Lachelle Mans of Demorest was recognized on the Who's Who in PBL list for 2014.<br /> <br /> Sullens, who is from Alto, placed second in Accounting Principles and also competed in Hospitality Management. Mia Sharpton of Clayton placed fourth in Accounting Principles and fifth in Computer Applications. Ryan Norton of Toccoa placed fifth in Contemporary Sports Issues and competed in Computer Applications. Also competing this year were Susie Berry of Cleveland in Job Interview and Personal Finance, Regina Ivey of Lawrenceville in Management Concepts and Personal Finance, and Nicholas Pyles of Summerville in Computer Concepts and Networking Concepts.
