ALBANY, Ga. (AP) A man charged in connection with a 2009 salmonella outbreak in peanuts that killed nine and sickened hundreds plans to enter a new plea.

Court records show a change of plea hearing for Samuel Lightsey is set for Wednesday in federal court in Albany. Lightsey was the manager of Peanut Corporation of America's plant in Blakely.

Also charged in the case are company owner Stewart Parnell, his food broker brother Michael Parnell, and plant quality assurance manager Mary Wilkerson.

Lightsey faces charges including obstruction of justice, conspiracy, wire fraud and the introduction of adulterated and misbranded food into interstate commerce with intent to defraud or mislead. He pleaded not guilty in February 2013.

Court records don't indicate which charges will be addressed or whether Lightsey has an agreement with prosecutors.
