GAINESVILLE - A Braselton man faced a list of charges this week as Gainesville/Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Agents confiscated approximately three pounds of marijuana, three guns and other drugs.

The bust, one of several for MANS agents this week, happened on Fullenwider Drive, according to MANS Lt. Scott Ware.

Ware said Khalil Akin Washington, 20, of Braselton, was arrested without incident by agents and Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies.

Of the three firearms seized, authorities said one was stolen. Ware said the estimated street value of the drugs, including a Hydrocodone tablet and more than an ounce of methamphetamine, was over $8800.

Washington was booked into the Hall County Jail following Wednesday's bust. He's charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, theft by receiving and possession of Hydrocodone.

The case was one of two this week where MANS agents seized drugs with street values in the thousands of dollars.

On Thursday, agents confiscated 19 ounces of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $53,200. Two Gwinnett County suspects face charges in that case.
