Winder annexes 88 parcels

WINDER - The City of Winder Friday announced the annexation of 88 parcels of land in accordance with legislation recently signed by Governor Nathan Deal.

City officials say they have been working with property owners and public safety agencies to reduce the number of property islands within the city limits.

There will be no changes in address or general use of the property and property owners of the 88 parcels will begin receiving city services immediately.
