CLARKESVILLE - A national survey shows that fewer than 39% of teenagers have ever set foot inside a manufacturing company but North Georgia Technical School is doing something it hopes will fill that gap while exposing teens to the career opportunities in manufacturing.

This summer, NGTC will be offering a new summer day camp aimed at introducing young persons in grades six through nine to new technologies and career options.

It is part of a national manufacturing summer camp program designed and sponsored by Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association. Learn more about these organizations at www.nutsandboltsfoundation.org.
